EAAD welcomes and promotes several activities throughout the year as a complement to the academic activities. In addition to the School Day, we highlight our study visits, the various Open Classes and lectures, as well as the exhibitions held on the exhibition spaces of EAAD - Museu, Estúdio UM and Ginási’UM.

The NE.EAUM also organizes different gatherings and activities, such as the barbecues, the magusto and the Christmas party, promoting the interaction between all involved in the School life.

As part of Plan A of the PhD in Architecture, 2024/2025 edition, Class #06 of the Advanced Knowledge Seminar, entitled “ARCHITECTURE, STRUCTURES AND CONSTRUCTION: Intersections, Incursions and New Perspectives”, will take place on March 28 at 2pm at the EAAD Museum, and will be given by Professor Paulo J.S. Cruz.

International gathering "The Walking Body: Changing Communities"

The Walking Body (TWB) is an international gathering of walking artists. The 2025 meeting, the 6th edition of this initiative, will be dedicated to communities in change. The opening of the event will be marked by an exhibition of Babak Fakhamzadeh's artwork, entitled “In loving Memory”, on 26 March at 6pm at the Garagem Avenida Gallery, in Guimarães.
