“UMinho Mais Digital – Competências para o Futuro” 

The project “UMinho Mais Digital – Competências para o Futuro”, arises within the scope of the Portuguese Recovery and Resilience Plan, integrated into investments aimed at Higher Education, more specifically in the Impulso MAIS Digital Program – submitted Reinforcement of Digital Skills.

The objective of the project is to reinforce UMinho's training offer in digital skills with a focus on NON-CTEAM disciplinary areas (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics), as they are considered less advanced areas in digital transformation in higher education.

In this context, the University of Minho offers more than 100 short-term courses, credited and taught in a hybrid or distance learning format, organized into seven main categories: Citizenship and Digital Transformation; Social Sciences and Digital Humanities; Digital Creation and Multimedia; Education and Technology; Management, Business and Digital Economy; Artificial Intelligence, Data Science and Computing; and Digital Technologies in Health and Wellbeing.

UMinho students will be able to attend the courses free of charge and will benefit from a merit scholarship if they complete the training.

- The Metaverse as a Creation Environment
- Design and Pagination
- High Fidelity Prototyping with Resin 3D Printing – SLA Technology
- Design of Exhibition Environments
- Design and Construction of Exhibition Systems with Laser Cutting Technology 
- Photogrammetric Survey and Point Cloud of buildings and landscape
- Introduction to Digital Manufacturing I - 2 axes
