Born in Barcelona in 1968. Graduated in Anglo-Germanic Philology at the Universitat de Barcelona, Spain, in 1992, the same year she also volunteered for the 1992 Olympic Games held in Barcelona. She was a teacher of English and Spanish as a Foreign Language (SFL) in Barcelona and Porto for over a decade.

Besides having carried out numerous training courses in the area of Teaching, she has participated in many others in different areas (Legal, Financial, Human Resources Management, Quality, Health and Safety at Work, Information Technologies or Foreign Languages, among others). She also completed the Public Management Training Programme (FORGEP), by INA. In 2020 she completed a Postgraduate Course in SFL/2L and, in 2021, she got a Master degree in Spanish as a Second Language/Foreign Language awarded by the School of Arts and Humanities of UMinho.
Awards:
- School Merit Award (Best MSc Student from ELACH) in Dez. 2021.
- Merit Scholarship awarded by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education (School year 2020/2021).

Among other duties she was the Secretary to the School of Engineering (2011 to 2013) and to the School of Nursing (2013 to 2017). From nov. 2017 to nov. 2021 she was Secretary to the Senate of University of Minho.

She currently works as a Senior Technician at UMinho's School of Architecture, Art and Design where she is responsible for the Secretariat of the Doctorate in Architecture and the Degree in Visual Arts, as well as the EAAD Alumni group and the Hiring of Visiting Teaching staff.
