The PhD Program in Architecture promotes the development of research skills and methods in the field of Architecture. Through the use of conceptual and methodological frameworks, students develop an original, pertinent and scientifically relevant research, according to a precise and applied research object, in a chosen specialty area.
The PhD Program in Architecture, equivalent to 180 ECTS, lasts 6 semesters. The program is subdivided in two plans: Plan A: Includes two semesters, with obligatory frequency in curricular course Units (CUs) following four semesters for the thesis development; Plan B: 6 semesters entirely dedicated to the PhD thesis.
