hosts another edition of The Walking Body this March. From March 23 to 28, the
7th edition of The Walking Body (TWB 2026) will take place under the theme
"Freedom / Liberdade".
The Walking
Body is an international gathering dedicated to walking as an artistic
practice, bringing together national and international artists for walkshops,
collaborative walks, hybrid digital technology workshops, public space
interventions, and open talks with the audience.
Over the
course of a week, artists and participants explore walking as a poetic and
critical gesture, reflecting on freedom, the body, urban space, and community.
Activities take place mainly at the Garagem Avenida Gallery (EAAD) and Bairro C
in Guimarães, including an "in-progress" exhibition open to the
public.
Participation
is free upon registration.
