The final-year students of the
Bachelor’s Degree in Product Design at the University of Minho have reached a
decisive moment. The Industrial Design course unit represents the culmination
of years of work, bridging academia and the business ecosystem.
During the second semester,
our students integrated into real company routines through internships. The
challenge? To develop innovative products under the scientific guidance of EAAD
(School of Architecture, Art and Design).
Built on a close relationship
with the industry, this course unit provides direct contact with real-world
challenges, integration into work routines, and an in-depth understanding of
corporate reality. It promotes a critical application of design project
methodology and the creation of innovative, relevant, and well-founded
solutions.
Public Defenses
Over the next few days, these innovative projects will be presented and
discussed publicly. Come meet the next generation of designers and the
solutions they have created for the future of the industry!
