Auditório 1 - EAAD
The School of Architecture, Art and Design welcomes, next Wednesday, April 26, Architect António Belém Lima with the lecture “Virtudes do Labirinto. Fenomenologia num apertamento”. The lecture will be held at 2 p.m. on Auditorium 1, Campus of Azurém, Guimarães.
António Belém Lima has a degree in Architecture (1979) from the Lisbon School of Fine Arts (ESBAL). From 1982 to 2005 he was Director at Arquitectos Pioledo in Vila Real. In 2006 he founded the Belém Lima Arquitectos office. He was awarded with the Douro Architecture Award 2008, Best Wine Tourism Award 2017. Nominated for the Secil Award 2009 and for the Mies Van der Rohe Award in 2015 and 2017. Between 1996 and 2015 he was a Guest Professor at the Escola Superior Artística do Porto (ESAP), at the University School of Arts in Coimbra (EUAC) and at the then School of Architecture of the University of Minho.
