The workshop
"Fernando Távora, drawing and design" will take place from 1 to 5
July at the University of Minho's School of Architecture, Art and Design, with
the collaboration and participation of teachers and students from the three
architecture schools associated with the Programme for the Commemoration of the
Centenary of the Birth of the Architect Fernando Távora (EAAD, Darq-FCTUC and
FAUP).
Coordinated by
João Cabeleira and Eduardo Fernandes (EAAD/Lab2PT), the workshop aims to
produce a wall atlas guided by three themes: drawing and design / drawing and
theory / drawing and external references. The programme will be based on a
series of visits, work sessions, discussion sessions and plenary presentations.
Students will be organised into mixed groups according to their background and
year of study.
