EAAD - Campus de Azurém - Capela
On March 20 at 5:30 p.m., EAAD's EA 0.07 room on the Azurém Campus in Guimarães will host a talk with António Gomes and André Silva entitled “Practice in 2025”.
The initiative, organized by NADA - Núcleo de Alunos Arquitetura Artes e Design and BIM2B, in collaboration with EAAD, is aimed at the school's entire student community. The talk is about the demands and challenges of the job market, with a special focus on the application of the BIM methodology. We will be joined by BIM2B and Deens Engineering, companies in the fields of Architecture, Project Coordination and Mechanical Engineering, who will bring practical examples and real project experiences. This meeting will be a valuable opportunity to better understand how theory connects to practice, learn about different perspectives and clarify doubts about the current market. The aim is to exchange ideas and bring theory closer to everyday work.
António Gomes | Architect and founder of BIM2B, specialist in BIM methodology and process optimization in construction. He believes that digital transformation only makes sense when it solves real problems, connects teams and creates value. His focus is on making processes simpler, more efficient and more organized, helping companies and professionals get the most out of technology. With a degree in Architecture from the University of Minho and a postgraduate degree in Project Management from Porto Business School, my mission is to drive innovation and digitalization in the construction sector.
André Silva | Mechanical Engineer and co-founder of Deens - Design Engineering Solutions, a specialist in BIM MEP and engineering consultancy. With an analytical and client-focused approach, he seeks to transform technical challenges into efficient and impactful solutions. With a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Aveiro, he combines technical experience with a strategic vision for optimizing construction projects and processes. Outside of work, he is passionate about sport, travel and cooking.
