On March 10, at 11 a.m. at the Institute of Design, a lecture will be held with Professor Marcela Carlomagno, from the Università degli Studi della Campania Luigi Vanvitelli, entitled “Cartografie di Comunità. A co-design experience to define narrative systems and communication artifacts”.
The teaching experience called “Cartografie di comunità”, carried out in collaboration with the Dedalus Social Cooperative, was an opportunity to experiment with co-design methodologies with the community, through workshop sessions and focus groups. The narrative systems and artifacts developed were intended to represent the cultural identities living in a specific area of Naples, the Porta Capuana neighborhood, with the aim of defining communication and awareness strategies on specific topics such as migration, inclusion, citizenship and cultural contamination. In addition, the project promoted a critical reading of places and communities, helping to contrast misinformation and stereotypes caused by first impressions.
