Exhibition of works by 2nd year students of the EAAD
Visual Arts Degree at the University of Minho's Azurém Campus Libraries.
The activity takes place as part of the
“Occupation/Site Specific” exercise of the Atelier II Curricular Unit,
coordinated by Rodrigo Paglieiri and Susana Gaudêncio and with the
collaboration of the Documentation and Library Services Unit of the University
of Minho.
The works reflect narratives with critical power
capable of discussing the universe of art based on reading and reflection on
the library, the book, the archive, reading, knowledge, etc. The aim was to
construct poetics based on the political nature of these spaces, as well as
their relationship with their surroundings, thus thinking about artistic making
under the compositional strategy of site-specific.
