Azurém Campus

Located on the Azurém Campus, Building 09, designed by architects Fernando Távora and José Bernardo Távora, was inaugurated in 2004. The School is located in the extension of the initial and organizing axis of the campus, designed by Bartolomeu Costa Cabral in the 1980s, facing the new buildings of the School of Sciences, designed by Atelier 15, and the School of Engineering.

Building 09 houses architecture programs: the Integrated Master's in Architecture, the Doctorate in Architecture, and non-degree programs. This building also houses the Landscape, Heritage, and Territory Laboratory (Lab2PT).

The following workshop and laboratory spaces are located here: the Construction and Technology Laboratory; the ARENA Robotic Fabrication Laboratory; and the Model and Prototype Workshop.

- Construction and Technology Laboratory

The LCT - Construction and Technology Laboratory supports the development of research into innovative yet tangible materials, construction, and structural solutions, establishing an effective interface with the construction industry.

Its activities cover a broad spectrum of topics, including structural glass, facades, structural systems, components, and materials.
